Megan Marden is a Connecticut-based painter who works from life, found images, and constructed setups. Her paintings are grounded in careful observation and disrupted by memory and revision.
She exhibits with Oxbow Gallery and has participated in recent group exhibitions at The Painting Center, Silvermine Galleries, Joyce Goldstein Gallery, and First Street Gallery.
Her work has been featured in Art Spiel, Two Coats of Paint, and other publications. She was a Four Pillars Artist-in-Residence at the Mount Gretna School of Art. She earned her BA and MFA in Painting from Western Connecticut State University and completed additional studies at the New York Studio School.
